St. Innocent Winery is dedicated to producing distinctive, handcrafted, vineyard-designated wines that have unique personalities. The vision, direction, and passion that goes into the production of each wine comes from our founder and winemaker: Mark Vlossak.
"The science and craft of winemaking can be taught, but the feel or art is part of your soul."
The first ever single vineyard St. Innocent Pinot noir was the 1989 O'Connor Vineyard. In 2006, we returned to our roots by constructing our facility at the same vineyard which is now named Zenith.
It's takes a team. Between the tasting room, cellar, and administrative work, the effort is worthy of a celebratory toast. Here were are commemorating the 2015 harvest with our 2006 blanc de blanc.
My father began my introduction to wine at the age of 7, instilling in me an instinctual feel for what wine is about. To thank him, the winery is his namesake – born on All Innocents Day, his middle name is Innocent. Photo, taken in Volnay, shows John Vlossak (R) and Jean-Pierre Charlot. - Mark
