Given that Oregon is the best spot in the U.S. to view this phenomenon, let’s take advantage of our neighboring vineyard’s 860’ foot elevation. Experience this once-in-a-lifetime event where a spectacular 70-mile view in all directions provides the perfect vantage point. We will watch the sun as it peeks over the Cascade Range with full totality at 10:15 am. After the totality, let’s celebrate with Champagne, brunch and live music along with a few special bottles from Mark’s St. Innocent Library.
Don’t miss this unforgettable day.
9:00 -10:00 am
Gather. Enjoy pastries with coffee and tea.
Spread out your “Eclipse 2017” keepsake blanket and get ready to experience the night sky for approximately 3 minutes during the totality. Look for your favorite constellations!
As the sky begins to lighten it’s time to break out the bubbles! St. Innocent sparkling wine and Champagnes will be poured for everyone.
Dine on a brunch catered by Chef Bernard Malherbe of The Crooked House Bistro while viewing the vineyard landscape which will only be a few weeks from harvest.
1:00 - 2:00
Enjoy Mark’s celebratory libations pulled from the St. Innocent Winery archives. Spend the summer afternoon playing leisurely games - giant Jenga, beanbag toss and Bocce – all with a live soundtrack provided by our very own Assistant Winemaker Rich Swanger and his band, Seahorse.
